How to Set Microphone and Volume:
If you are using your microphone for the first time, you will need to set your microphone
for transmitting/recording your voice. To check
your microphone settings, double click the speaker icon
at the lower right
corner of the Windows task bar. The Volume Control
dialog box will appear.
Adjusting Microphone Volume
From the menu, select Options,
then Properties.
In Adjust volume for, select Playback.
In the list under Show The Following Volume Controls, check the box next to
Mic Volume, then click OK.

Next, adjust the Microphone slider to the desired level and be sure Mute is NOT checked in the
Volume Control dialog box.

From the menu, select Options,
then Properties again.
In Adjust volume for, select Recording.
In the list under Show The Following Volume Controls, check the box next to
Mic Volume, then click OK.

Next, adjust the Microphone slider to the desired level and be sure the checkbox next to
Select under Mic Volume is checked.

Before using your microphone, be sure that it is
properly plugged into your computer and that the control switch is turned on.
